Report: Antonio Brown’s grievance against Raiders to be heard by arbitrator in May

Antonio Brown didn’t spend a heck of a lot of time with the Raiders in 2019, and after he was released he filed a grievance against the club over lost wages, including nearly $30 million in guarantees.

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, an arbitrator will hear his grievance in May.

The Raiders also fined Brown over $215,000 for conduct detrimental to the team, which is what led to the guaranteed money on his deal with Oakland being voided in the first place.

Brown’s conduct in question stemmed from a series of troubling behavior that reportedly included a scuffle with teammates who had to hold him back from going after general manager Mike Mayock. Previously, he had missed a ton of time due to an accident that literally froze his feet, and due to a helmet issue he had with the NFL.

The free agent receiver is still being investigated by the NFL over two separate allegations of sexual misconduct.
