Jarren Williams started nine games for the Miami Hurricanes in 2019. Now he’s reportedly putting his name in the transfer portal after D’Eriq King transferred to Miami.

Pat Forde of Yahoo Sports shared this news on Thursday.

Williams has a pretty solid season as a redshirt freshman in 2019. He appeared in all 12 games, completing 169-of-276 passes (61.2%) for 2,187 yards with 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

A player with tons of potential, Williams was the No. 5 ranked pro-style quarterback coming out of high school, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. He should find an attractive partner in short order if he does indeed end up transferring away from Miami.
