The Oklahoma City Thunder will be without center Nerlens Noel at least one week after he underwent surgery to repair a fracture to the zygomatic arch of his left cheek.

Mark J. Spears of ESPN shared this update on Noel’s injury:

Noel, a 25-year-old former No. 6 overall pick (way back in 2013), has been a solid bench player for the Thunder this year. Playing roughly 19 minutes a night, he’s averaging 8.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.6 blocks per game.
