Lakers-Clippers game postponed following Kobe Bryant’s death

The death that shocked the sports world will now impact the Los Angeles Lakers first game back on the court.

One day after Lakers legend Kobe Bryant tragically passed away at the age of 41 in a helicopter accident in Southern California, their game against the Los Angeles Clippers slated for Tuesday night has been postponed.

Bryant, a long with his teenage daughter and seven others, passed away late Sunday morning in a tragic accident on the way to a youth basketball game.

There’s no words that describes the pain these families must be going through.

As it relates to the Lakers, they sent in grief counselors to help players and other employees handle the tragedy.

A day after NBA games went on scheduled with some heavy hearts on the court, it looks like the NBA did the right thing here.

There’s no way LeBron James and Co. were going to be in the right head space to play what now seems to be a meaningless regular-season game.

According to the NBA, there’s no scheduled make-up date for the game as of yet.
