Dolphins owner scoffs at Tom Brady rumors

Tom Brady Dolphins

Tom Brady is going to be one of the most coveted free agents in the NFL this offseason. While the future Hall of Famer will have plenty of teams to choose from, it appears the Miami Dolphins won’t be one of them.

Speaking to reporters before Super Bowl LIV, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross scoffed at the idea that the Dolphins could be interested in Brady. While the team is known to be determined to add a quarterback this offseason, Jones is making it known that Brady won’t be it.

Jones’ position is certainly understandable with the Dolphins in the midst of a rebuild. However, it’s a bit surprising to hear an NFL owner scoff at the idea of pursuing the most accomplished player in NFL history.

While Brady has certainly regressed in recent seasons, he is a quarterback more than capable of winning another Super Bowl.

If he hadn’t already, the 42-year-old can cross off a pre-retirement move to Miami off his list. It might not be wise of Jones to provide Brady with another motivational factor for the next time he faces the Dolphins.
