Tevin Coleman injury

San Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman suffered a gruesome-looking shoulder injury on Sunday during the first quarter of the NFC title game. He was carted off the field in a great deal of pain afterward, but on Monday head coach Kyle Shanahan shared good news.

Shanahan said Coleman suffered a “Lethal Weapon” type of dislocated shoulder but hopes to have his running back available for Super Bowl LIV.

Coleman was a key weapon for the 49ers in some big games this past regular season, and his monster game against the Minnesota Vikings in the divisional-round was key to vaulting the 49ers into the NFC title game.

Needless to say, if he’s ready to roll on Super Bowl Sunday, it certainly won’t hurt the NFC’s best team.
