WATCH: Philip Rivers complaining about loud Raiders fans is just sad

Philip Rivers

The Los Angeles Chargers “hosted” the Oakland Raiders at their temporary digs of Dignity Health Sports Park in their final home game before moving into a brand new venue next season.

More so than Los Angeles’ 24-17 loss to the Raiders, the vibe at the stadium was all sorts of ugly for the team.

This included Philip Rivers complaining about not being able to hear play calls due to Raiders fans being too loud. It was just sad.

Rivers himself spoke about the atmosphere after the game. Needless to say, the veteran quarterback was frustrated.

He’s not blaming the lack of Chargers fans for a home game for the loss. However, Rivers knows full well that there’s currently no home-field advantage for his team.

It’s been the case since the Chargers relocated from San Diego to Los Angeles. We just hope this isn’t the case when they break in SoFi Stadium late next summer.
