James Harden and Dejounte Murray got into it during the first quarter of Monday’s game between the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets.

Harden was frustrated after Murray picked his pocket and went in for a layup on an easy fast break. Then he showed it by bumping into Murray. The 23-year-old Spurs guard didn’t back down, and a shoving match ensued.

Officials had to separate Harden and Murray, who weren’t backing down one iota. Thankfully nothing further developed as the refs got things under control quickly. But this budding rivalry will be worth keeping an eye on in the future.
