Report: At least 20 teams interested in Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown arrest

As NFL continues its investigation into free-agent wide receiver Antonio Brown, at least 20 teams remain seriously interested in signing the All-Pro receiver, per Bleacher Report’s Mike Freeman.

According to the report, several general managers throughout the league believe every playoff team, except the New England Patriots, would be interested in signing Brown and view him as a transformational talent.

Of course, the 31-year-old star receiver comes with significant questions. Even after the NFL concludes its investigation and makes its decision, which could still be weeks away, for sexual assault allegations against Brown, the All-Pro receiver’s tweets remain an issue.

Brown blasted the NFL and hinted at retirement on Nov. 7 then clarified his statement later on the same day. He issued an apology for his behavior a month later, then went back to blasting the NFL a few days later. He also has aa lengthy history of taking shots at his former teams on social media.

While NFL teams would clearly love Brown to step away from social media and create less drama for himself, it seems a near certainty that he won’t do that.

So, for now, Brown will remain a free agent as the NFL’s investigation continues. Once a decision is made, and if he receives a suspension, then NFL teams will go from there to determine if or when they should sign him.
