Reds rumors: Team signs three-time All-Star Mike Moustakas

Following yet another disastrous season in Cincinnati, the Reds have been rumored to be big time players this winter.

They apparently have not wasted any time. According to Jon Heyman of MLB Network, Cincinnati has signed three-time All-Star third baseman Mike Moustakas.

This qualifies as a pretty big move for the squad. Moustakas, 31, hit .254 with 35 homers, 87 RBI and an .845 OPS for the division rival Milwaukee Brewers last season.

Reports note that Cincinnati will play the veteran at second base. He has started a grand total of 40 games at second base throughout his career, all of them coming last season.

The deal is said to be for four years and worth about $16 million annually.
