The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a terrible loss on Monday, as JoAnn Buss, the wife of former Lakers governor Dr. Jerry Buss and mother of current governor Jeanie Buss, passed away.
The team sent out a statement Monday announcing her passing, asking fans to donate to The American Cancer Society or the Lakers Youth Foundation, rather than send flowers.
LeBron James and Magic Johnson both took to social media to offer their condolences and support.
