New Seahawks WR Josh Gordon cleared for full practice

The whole knee injury that landed former Pro Bowl receiver Josh Gordon on injured reserve prior to his release from the New England Patriots is a thing of the past.

Mere days after picking Gordon up off waivers, the Seattle Seahawks note that Gordon has been cleared for full practice.

It honestly couldn’t come at a better time for Seattle. Fresh off a narrow win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Russell Wilson and Co. are set to take on the undefeated San Francisco 49ers on the road next Monday night.

Having Gordon on the field for that game is going to be huge, especially given that San Francisco boasts the top pass defense in the NFL.

Gordon, 28, recorded 20 receptions for 287 yards and one touchdown in six games with the Patriots before being released.

He’ll now add another weapon for MVP favorite Russell Wilson as Seattle looks to keep pace with San Francisco.
