The New York Yankees will open up their potential run to the World Series against the Minnesota Twins in the ALDS on Friday.

New York is finishing up its best regular-season performance (103) wins since all the way back in 2009, the last time it won the World Series.

The team’s motto for this year’s playoffs? “October Savages.”

That’s just brilliant. This is paying homage to a game back in July that saw manager Aaron Boone ejected after telling an umpire, “My guys are f***ing savages in that f***ing box.” It was an absolutely epic rant.

Talk about trolling ump Brennan Miller ahead of their 2019 playoff opener. Sadly, Miller was not assigned to the Yankees’ ALDS series. That would have been fantastic.
