WATCH: Redskins WR Steven Sims Jr. burns Patriots for incredible 65-yard, end-around TD

The Washington Redskins came into Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots as heavy underdogs. So, Washington brought out the trickery and executed it to perfection for a 65-yard touchdown.

Quarterback Colt McCoy pulled the defense to one side of the field then handed it off to wide receiver Steven Sims Jr. on the end-around. Once Sims Jr. got around the corner, he slipped out of a crowd of defenders than ran untouched into the end zone.

Washington’s early touchdown to take a 7-0 lead is the first time the Patriots have trailed all season. While it’s still early in Sunday’s game, this can’t be what New England’s fans, who traveled to D.C. and took over the stadium, came to see.
