WATCH: Kawhi Leonard dominating early in Clippers debut

It did not start out too swimmingly for Kawhi Leonard in his Los Angeles Clippers regular-season debut Tuesday evening.

Leonard heard boos from the “home crowd” prior to his team taking on the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center.

That was quickly erased by Kawhi absolutely going off against LeBron James and Co. At one point in the second quarter, Leonard had scored seven consecutive buckets for the Clippers.

This stretch culminated in a rim-running flush, as the Clippers bench absolutely lost its mind.

Hitting seven consecutive shots is not easy in the NBA. Doing so with King James on you at times magnifies that further.

All said, Leonard hit on eight of his first 11 shots for 20 points. Not too shabby.
