The Georgia Southern Eagles are trying to pull off an early stunner to begin Week 10 of the college football season. Running back Wesley Kennedy III officially put No. 20 Appalachian State on upset alert with a scorching 68-yard touchdown run.

Georgia Southern already came out of halftime with aa 10-7 lead and some momentum to build off of. It gave the ball to Kennedy on third down and he melted the Mountaineers’ defense with his speed on his way to the end zone.

App State already encountered enough problems attempting to stop Kennedy in the first half and then he demonstrated what he can really do in open space. If Georgia Southern pulls off the upset, plenty of the credit must go to its outstanding running back for putting the team on his shoulders.
