Despite his hamstring injury being considered minor, the Minnesota Vikings are smart to play it close to the vest with star receiver Adam Thielen.
Coming off a short week following Sunday’s blowout win over the Detroit Lions, Minnesota has already ruled Thielen out for “Thursday Night Football.”
This isn’t a surprise. Minnesota likely won’t need the Pro Bowler on the field against a one-win Redskins team that’s coming off a shutout loss last week.
With Thielen out of action, expect the red-hot Kirk Cousins to continue targeting Stefon Diggs. The receiver has put up 14 catches for 309 yards with three touchdowns over the past two games.
