Saquon Barkley ruled out for Sunday’s game against Vikings

The New York Giants will not have star running back Saquon Barkley available for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Barkley, who’s recovering from a high-ankle sprain, has been ruled out of the game.

Last year’s Offensive Rookie of the Year had given fans some hope he may play in Week 5. His recovery from an injury that required multiple opinions has been nothing short of remarkable.

Without Barkley, the Giants will once again be counting on Wayne Gallman to carry the load on Sunday. Last weekend, he tallied 63 yards and a touchdown on the ground, adding six receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown.
