Patriots won’t rule out Rob Gronkowski return

The New England Patriots head into their Week 6 game against the New York Giants at 5-0 and in complete domination mode.

In no way does this mean New England is satisfied with where it is at right now. There’s always room to get better.

In this case, that could potentially mean welcoming future Hall of Fame tight end Rob Gronkowski back from retirement.

When asked about the potential of Gronkowski unretiring, Patriots owner Robert Kraft did not even come close shutting down that rumor.

Those are some strong words right there. The fact that Kraft points to Gronkowski not turning in his retirement papers could lead us to believe the long-time Pats owner knows something behind the scenes.

Rumors have continually persisted that the five-time Pro Bowler might return after announcing his retirement following New England’s Super Bowl victory in February.

These comments won’t quiet down said rumors.
