As MLB’s postseason continues on Sunday with more historic moments on the horizon, the baseball world commemorated a postseason moment fans will never forget.

While a pitcher’s first postseason start can be exhilarating and challenging, Roy Halladay made it look easy. He took the mound nine years ago today against the Cincinnati Reds a threw a no-hitter that baseball fans always cherish.

In honor of this anniversary, the baseball world made sure to commemorate on Halladay’s magical day nine years ago and honor a man the world lost far too soon.
