With the NFL trade deadline looming just weeks away, it appears the Cleveland Browns could be trying to land Trent Williams in a trade with the Washington Redskins.
Steve Doerschuk of CantonRep.com tweeted the following on Tuesday after the Browns traded guard Austin Corbett to the Los Angeles Rams.
It’s worth noting that Washington president Bruce Allen has steadfastly refused to even discuss a Trent Williams trade to this point. At least, that’s what he has said publicly.
However, with the deadline coming up fast (Oct. 29) and Williams’ downright refusal to ever play for Washington again, it just makes sense for the franchise to get something in return for the Pro Bowl left tackle.
