In case you were wondering, Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey is pretty darn good at football. At 0-4 on the season, no one would mistake the New York Jets for being good.

Outside of this basic analysis, one stat stands out that tells us a story of just how good McCaffrey has been. It also shows us just how bad Adam Gase’s Jets offense is.

Heading into Week 6, McCaffrey has more total yards than the entire Jets offense. It’s not really that close.

What in the wide world of suck is happening here? We should preface this by saying that McCaffrey has played one more game than the Jets. Then again, who cares? This is simply insane.

The Jets have put up 233 total yards of offense over the past two games. They tallied 61 net passing yards in a blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last week.

Meanwhile, McCaffrey gained 237 total yards last week alone in a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

No wonder first-year Jets head coach Adam Gase is already getting the New York media treatment.
