Tom Brady confirms he invited Antonio Brown and family to stay at his home

Tom Brady

On Sunday night ahead of the first game of the season for the New England Patriots, NBC Sports reported Tom Brady invited Antonio Brown and his family to stay at his home until he got settled.

On Monday, speaking with Jim Gray on Westwood One Sports, Brady confirmed that he did, in fact, make such a gesture to Brown and his family. He also told Gray that it’s an offer he’s made to many other players in the past, per Amy Lawrence of CBS Sports Radio.

Brady also told NBC Sports that he’s all in on having Brown join the Patriots. Clearly, given this invitation, that’s not hyperbole.

Brown is expected to play for the Patriots in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins after signing a one-year deal with a team option for a second year.

He of course was traded to the Oakland Raiders during the offseason but forced his way out of that franchise, only to swiftly sign with the defending champs. Despite protestations from many, the NFL is not expected to investigate any foul play over the incident.
