Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry just can’t stay healthy. The youngster missed all of last season with a torn ACL.

He’s now going to be out for some time just one game into the 2019 season. The Chargers announced on Wednesday that Henry suffered a tibia plateau fracture to his left knee in Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.

While no determination has been made regarding a timeline for return, it would not be a surprise if Los Angeles placed Henry on injured reserve.

A second-round pick of the Chargers back in 2016, Henry broke out big time the following season. He recorded 45 receptions for 579 yards in 2017. The Arkansas product put up four catches for 60 yards on five targets Sunday.

One now has to wonder whether the Chargers will bring back future Hall of Famer Antonio Gates. They did just that last season after Henry suffered the torn ACL.
