MLB world reacts to Astros no-hitter in Aaron Sanchez’ debut

The Houston Astros pulled off multiple trades during the deadline on Wednesday. One that flew under the radar was the acquisition of veteran starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez from the Toronto Blue Jays.

Sanchez, 27, had pitched to a 3-14 record with a 6.07 ERA and 1.69 WHIP in 23 starts with Toronto before taking to the bump in his Astros debut against the Mariners Saturday evening.

What followed was pretty much unexplainable. Sanchez tossed six no-hit innings before three Astros relievers finished the combined no-hitter in a 9-0 win.

Not a single person could have predicted this. Needless to say, fans around the MLB world had some tremendous reactions to the feat.
