Aaron Rodgers wants Packers to cut beer prices for amazing reason

Aaron Rodgers

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers made news this offseason for failing miserably in a beer-chugging contest with one of his teammates.

It led to other NFL players showing of their talents. Most recently, that included Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Rodgers was talking with reporters after practice recently when the topic of beer came up. He decided to correlate it with Packers fans being loud at Lambeau.

“I’m up for anything that’s going to get the fans as loud as possible,” Rodgers told reporters, via the Packers’ official website. “Maybe slash the beer prices or something. Might be a good idea.”

Get the fans drunk and they might be louder. Given that he plays in Wisconsin, this might actually be a good idea. Rodgers turned to a couple of his teammates to ask their opinions. Both agreed with the sentiment.

The Packers could sacrifice some revenue for a better home-field advantage. How about $1.00 beers? Well worth it to win the Super Bowl.
