Marquise Goodwin requests ratings bump from ‘Madden’ after winning 40 contest

San Francisco 49ers receiver Marquise Goodwin

Marquise Goodwin just won $1 million after winning the “40 Yards of Gold” title, and now he’s trying to parlay that achievement into better “Madden” ratings.

On Saturday, Goodwin beat Donte Jackson by the narrow margin of .05 seconds to win the title of NFL’s fastest man.

One day later, he reached out to EA Sports’ Madden NFL Twitter account with a strong request for some ratings increases. The words, “Inaccurate” and “Disrespectful” were included in said message.

Needless to say, Goodwin, like many other NFL players, really pays attention to what kind of ratings he gets on the popular video game.

For what it’s worth, this particular Olympian deserves a stronger strength rating than 42, and his speed should be set at 100.
