Lakers re-sign Rajon Rondo, per report

The Los Angeles Lakers are doing a lot of work mere hours after the team was unable to land Kawhi Leonard in free agency.

Minutes after reportedly signing DeMarcus Cousins, the Lakers have re-signed veteran point guard Rajon Rondo.

Rondo, 33, averaged 9.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 8.0 assists in his first season with the Lakers. He’s more than likely to start for Los Angeles this coming season.

The Rondo signing comes after Los Angeles added Cousins and Danny Green while re-signing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and JaVale McGee.
