Daniel Jones was the sixth overall player selected in the 2019 NFL Draft. Tyree Jackson was not even drafted. Yet, the coming “Madden 20” video game being released by EA Sports has Jones rated lower than his undrafted rookie peer.

Here’s a look at the top rookie quarterback rankings, with top overall pick Kyler Murray not surprisingly getting the highest rating.

As if that weren’t bad enough, Jones was recently asked by EA Sports to guess his rating, and he was woefully off the mark.

“I don’t know, I’m a rookie,” Jones said. “Maybe high 70s, low 80s?”

Now, it’s worth pointing out that Jones received some glowing praise earlier this offseason for the work he did during New York Giants OTAs and minicamp. Whether that translates to success when it matters remains to be seen.
