WATCH: Kyle Lowry wants Warriors minority owner banned from NBA

Toronto Raptors star guard Kyle Lowry took to the media for availability on Thursday. It comes one day after his Raptors defeated the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

The talk surrounding said game has not involved what we saw between the two teams. Rather, it’s an incident in the second half that saw Warriors minority owner and investor Mark Stevens push Lowry from his front-row seat.

It’s led to the Warriors suspending Stevens for the remainder of the Finals. The league itself has also banned him from other games. The Warriors and the NBA are both investigating the situation.

In talking about the incident in question, Lowry thanked the Warriors for their quick response while talking up majority owner Joe Lacob.

The All-Star guard also made it clear that he believes Stevens should be banned from the NBA.

We saw Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James have a similar take on the situation earlier on Thursday.

There’s no telling what might happen here. But given the inclusive and progressive nature of both the NBA and the Warriors, we can fully expect a harsh punishment for Stevens.
