Pelicans eyeing All-Star Al Horford in free agency, per report

The New Orleans Pelicans might not be done retooling their roster. Mere weeks after the blockbuster Anthony Davis trade, New Orleans is reportedly showing interest in Boston Celtics All-Star big man Al Horford.

This would be a major move for New Orleans. The idea would be to team Horford up with rookie No. 1 overall pick Zion Williamson and new acquisition Brandon Ingram in the front court.

Add in guards Jrue Holiday, Josh Hart and Lonzo Ball, and this would be one stacked roster.

The Pelicans could have as much as $32 million in rap room if they were to renounce eight of their free agents, Julius Randle included.
