Game 6 of the NBA Finals already had plenty of drama. Klay Thompson supplied even more of it in the third quarter after suffering an injury.

It started when Thompson hurt himself after landing awkwardly on a dunk. The injury did not look good.

But if someone else attempted the free throws, the Golden State Warriors star would be sidelined for the game. Rather than that, Thompson returned to the floor to a raucus ovation.

Naturally, he nailed both free throws. Twitter was gushing over Klay’s heroic effort.

Thompson went out immediately after the free throws and was later ruled out for the remainder of the game.
