NBA Draft lottery winner will not give up Zion Williamson

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

As the NBA’s lottery teams gather for the annual event, a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski notes that whoever lands the top overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft will not part with Zion Williamson.

There was a report earlier on Tuesday that the New York Knicks might look to move Williamson in a trade for Anthony Davis if they won the lottery.

That’s apparently no longer the case.

Williamson had among the most dominant seasons in college basketball history with Duke in 2018-19. He averaged 22.6 points and 8.9 rebounds on an absurd 68% mark from the field.
