Aaron Judge participates in baseball activities for first time since oblique injury

The New York Yankees saw a bit of progress from star outfielder Aaron Judge, who is recovering from the oblique injury that’s kept him out of action for the past month.

On Monday before the team’s game against the Baltimore Orioles, Judge ran and threw, though he has yet to be cleared for hitting, ESPN’s Cole Harvey shared.

Clearly, Judge still has a ways to go before he’ll be fully cleared to return. However, this latest step forward is a huge positive development for the Yankees star. If he continues to progress without any setbacks, it won’t be long before the slugger is pumping balls into the bleachers once again.

Before getting injured, Judge was batting .288 with five home runs and 11 RBI in 73 at-bats.
