Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout rarely disappoints on the big stage. That was true on Monday against the Milwaukee Brewers and their star, Christian Yelich.

Yelich appeared to hit a home run, but Trout had other ideas. The Halos star went up and brought the ball back, robbing the reigning NL MVP of another home run.

Sometimes you just have to tip your cap to a great play made by a great player. That’s really all that Yelich could do here.

Ask anyone who’s ever faced him in an All-Star Game. When the bright lights are on, Trout tends to come through. Going against the reigning NL MVP in a rare interleague series, the lights were definitely bright. Trout certainly made his presence felt.
