The Boston Bruins are hosting the Toronto Maple Leafs for Game 7 of the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. And reigning Super Bowl MVP Julian Edelman is in the corner of the home team.
Edelman, who was rocking the jersey of Boston winger David Pastrnak, served as the honorary flag captain. The Super Bowl MVP got the crowd riled up when the camera found him (H/T Conor Ryan, Boston Sports Journal). He whipped them into even more of a frenzy by chugging a Bud Light.
The early returns were positive. The Bruins scored two first period goals to take a 2-0 lead at the first intermission.
