Ben Roethlisberger takes veiled shot at Antonio Brown addressing media

Ben Roethlisberger was in attendance Tuesday as the Pittsburgh Steelers opened up their offseason program, and he sent a subtle message to his old teammate Antonio Brown.

“We want to show we are here, dedicated to this team, dedicated to having a great season,” Roethlisberger said, per the team’s website. “We are all about each other.”

That’s absolutely a shot at Brown.

Last year, Brown was certainly not “all about each other.” In fact, it’s been reported that he abandoned the Steelers not once, but three times including of course the Week 17 debacle that spelled the end of his tenure in Pittsburgh.

Even since he was traded to Oakland, Brown has continued to take blatant shots at his former teammates, who recently made it clear they’ve had enough.

It’s going to be fascinating to see if the Steelers are able to truly move on and come together in 2019. Many have suggested that Roethlisberger and head coach Mike Tomlin were just as much of the problem in Pittsburgh as Brown was. Time will tell.
