During Wednesday’s game against the Minnesota Twins, Kansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi made a ridiculously difficult play look easy and took a hit away from Max Kepler in the process.

Check out this incredible play as Mondesi showed off his range, concentration and stellar glove to record the out and save at least one run.

That’s just an amazing individual effort.

If that ball had dropped, it stands to reason at least one of the three men on base would have scored. Instead of perhaps a tie ballgame, Mondesi’s efforts preserved a two-run lead.
