The Oakland Raiders have given Derek Carr another big-time weapon in the passing game, reportedly signing Tyrell Williams.

Williams is a former undrafted free agent out of Western Oregon who has in recent years emerged as one of the league’s preeminent deep threats. He’s also been known to bring in some ridiculous circus catches, to boot.

The past three seasons, he’s hauled in 153 receptions for 2,440 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Combined with the acquisition of Antonio Brown, Oakland’s receiving corps should be significantly more dangerous in 2019 than it was a year ago. Whether that translates to a breakout campaign for Carr remains to be seen.
