Last October when he was still a member of the Denver Broncos, quarterback Chad Kelly was arrested for allegedly trespassing in an Englewood home after a team Halloween party.

The Broncos released Kelly, whom they selected in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft, following that incident. An incident that caused general manager John Elway no small amount of consternation.

On Wednesday, he pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal trespassing in Arapahoe County District Court, per Saja Hindi of the Denver Post.

The original charge was first-degree trespassing. After pleading guilty to second-degree trespassing, Kelly “was sentenced to one year of probation and 50 hours of community service,” per Hindi.

Since being released by Denver, Kelly, who is the nephew of NFL Hall of Famer Jim Kelly, has not found a job with another team.
