The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been shopping receiver DeSean Jackson, who wants to return to Philadelphia. Unfortunately for both parties, they can’t find any takers in a trade for the speedster, per Dianna Russini of ESPN, and will keep him on the roster “for now.”

At this point, it seems like the Bucs will just hang tight until the free agency frenzy subsides in the next week or two and then perhaps reassert their efforts to move Jackson. If that doesn’t work, then the next logical step would be to release him unless head coach Bruce Arians can convince Jackson that staying in Tampa Bay will be a good thing.
Arians has wanted to retain Jackson since he signed on with the Bucs, and the receiver’s speed would be an ideal weapon for Arians to employ in his downfield, attacking passing offense.
Unfortunately, the marriage between Jackson and the Bucs hasn’t led to much success so far. In his two seasons with Tampa Bay, Jackson has caught just 91 balls for 1,442 yards and seven touchdowns.
