Kyler Murray was a guest on the “Dan Patrick Show” Friday morning, but when it was time to answer questions about his future he went completely silent.
It really was an incredible scene. Patrick asked Murray if he would attend the NFL Scouting Combine. He asked if he would hold a pro day. He asked if he would be attending spring training as a member of the Oakland Athletics.
To each of these questions, Murray would not give an answer. Patrick even asked Murray’s father, who replied, “No comment.”

Murray doesn’t have a lot of time left to make a decision. If he’s going to report to spring training with the A’s, that’s coming up in just a couple of weeks. The combine is in late February.
We know that Murray wants to play football. He’s made that clear, and he’s declared for the 2019 NFL Draft. What we don’t know is whether he’s going to pursue that with all his heart, or if he’s being pulled in another direction.
