The young talent is certainly in display at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Tuesday night.
As both the Sixers and Celtics prepare for this weekend’s All-Star Break, the two top conference title contenders are leaving everything on the court.
With the game pretty much even throughout, youngsters Ben Simmons and Jayson Tatum took to the highlight reels by trading massive jams.
It started with Simmons burning the Celtics on a hesitation dribble for the flush. Then, almost immediately after that, Tatum responded by putting Simmons himself on a poster.

If we were to pick a winner of this specific dunk contest, we’d have to go with Tatum. He was challenged by Simmons — only to respond in kind.
Unfortunately for NBA fans the world over, neither star will be participating in the 2019 Slam Dunk Contest in Charlotte this weekend. But wouldn’t that have been something else?
