LOOK: ‘New York Post’ trolls Knicks after Kristaps Porzingis trade

The decision to trade Kristaps Porzingis has not drawn rave reviews for the New York Knicks. That includes one of their hometown papers.

The New York Post released the front page of Friday’s paper. On it, the Knicks are called the “Knickerbotchers” and the headline simply reads “The fat lady zings.”

Ouch.

The general feeling has been that this move was made to clear cap space for a loaded free agent class, headlined by Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

This is the treatment that the Knicks are getting now. Imagine what the headlines will look like if they come up empty in free agency.
