We don’t know who the next coach of the New York Jets will be. But if star safety Jamal Adams gets his way, Kliff Kingsbury will get the job.
Adams followed Kingsbury on Instagram. SNY pointed this out, speculating that Adams wanted Kingsbury. Adams responded, leaving no doubt.
U damn right! https://t.co/dKWImLJT9M

There’s some good news for Adams. Kingsbury is set to interview with the Jets for the open head coaching position.
We can absolutely see the fit. New York has long lacked much of an offensive identity. With young quarterback Sam Darnold, the Jets looking for an offensive minded coach would make sense. If nothing else, Kingsbury has demonstrated that he’s a creative offensive mind.
Of course, Adams’ recommendation doesn’t mean that New York will hire Kingsbury. But the endorsement of one of the team’s best player has to go a long way.
