WATCH: Tua Tagovailoa looking good at ‘Bama practice

For a guy who was wearing a protective boot and was getting around on his own personalized ‘Bama mobile just a week ago, Tua Tagovailoa is healing up quite nicely.

The sophomore quarterback, who recently underwent minor surgery just two weeks ago to repair damage to his sprained ankle, was nearly a full participant during practice on Friday. ESPN’s Alex Scarborough reported he did all but one footwork drill during this session.

Check him out here, looking a bit tentative but otherwise very smooth during a drop-back drill.

This is incredibly positive news for the Crimson Tide. It’s also great news for Tagovailoa as he attempts to get back to full health in time for Alabama’s Orange Bowl matchup against Heisman winner Kyler Murray and the Oklahoma Sooners.
