WATCH: Travis Etienne with the dagger 62-yard TD run against Notre Dame

After a slow start to the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, the Clemson Tigers offense is now rolling. Running back Travis Etienne woke up in the third quarter and buried the final dagger into the Fighting Irish with a 62-yard touchdown run.

Late in the third quarter with the Tigers already leading 23-3, Clemson’s sophomore running back found a hole and exploded as his speed took him the distance for the clinching score.

The monster touchdown run pushed Etienne over 100 rushing yards on the day. More importantly, it helped him pass Wayne Gallman to take over Clemson’s single-season rushing record with 1,564 yards.

Clemson’s young offense is on fire right now and just minutes away from clinching another trip to the CFB National Championship Game.
