WATCH: Panthers Pro Bowler Ryan Kalil seems to announce his retirement

As the Carolina Panthers finish up shop in what has been a lost season for the organization, we’re going to see some dramatic changes this coming offseason. That’s what happens when a team loses seven consecutive games after a 6-2 start to the campaign.

Among those players who might not be back next season, center Ryan Kalil seemingly announced his retirement on Thursday.

It came with him heading to the practice facility and signing autographs for fans. Check the video out on all of its glory.

A second-round pick of the Panthers back in 2007, Kalil has earned five Pro Bowl appearances and two All-Pro honors during what has been a stellar 12-year career.

Fully healthy this season, Kalil has started all 15 games for the Panthers. This comes after he started a combined 14 games over the past two seasons.

It seems that the 33-year-old California native is looking to go out on his own terms. That’s never a bad thing.
