Report: Former Bills QB Nathan Peterman set to visit with the Raiders

Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden looked at his roster after seeing the team lose 11 of its first 14 games this season and figured that Nathan Peterman was worth a look.

That’s the word we’re getting from Ryan Talbot of New York Upstate indicating that the former Buffalo Bills draft bust will soon visit with the Raiders. More than that, Gruden is said to be “very high” on the quarterback.

Historically speaking, Peterman has been among the worst quarterbacks in NFL history. Prior to being waived by Buffalo earlier this season, he had accounted for three touchdowns compared to 12 interceptions in eight career games (four starts).

The Raiders’ current backup behind Derek Carr is former Bills quarterback A.J. McCarron — the very same player that couldn’t beat Peterman out for a starting job during training camp.
