WATCH: Giants score on crazy tip-drill pick-six

In a season where seemingly every bounce went against their opponent, the ball finally bounced the New York Giants’ way. After cornerback Janoris Jenkins deflected the football, linebacker Alec Ogletree scooped it up and returned it for a pick-six.

The play came right at the start of the third quarter with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in search of momentum. Jenkins jumped the route and got his hands on the football, then it deflected off him and into Ogletree’s arms as he spun on the ground to save it then ran in for the score.

The crazy sequence gave New York a two-score lead as it is rolling thus far on Sunday over the Buccaneers. New York’s defense has been causing problems for Fitzpatrick all game long and is thus far playing an instrumental role in the team’s recent turnaround.
